The best activity
Almost all people are dealing with increased level of stress and frustration these days. This means that our system needs a way to release this stress from time to time. The easiest way to do this is to get in fight with people who are close to you. Of course, this is also the worst and least effective way to handle this pressure. In the past few years, women around the world are interested in various sports and physical activities, mostly new sports that actually represent old sport-recreational activity in a new way. There are many known and less known activities and classes which we can attend.
There are many different types of boxing, but there are only few of them that can be practiced by women and one of them is Muay Thai.
Muay Thai or Thai boxing is a martial art in which participants use special gloves. A typical match lasts for 5 rounds with two minute breaks. Kicks with legs and fists together with knees and elbows are allowed. Athletes also use grappling and throwing. This is something that makes this sport different from other similar sports like kick boxing for example. The previously mentioned rules require great endurance and flexibility and this is why so many recreationalists are interested in this sport.
It is not unusual to see women who travel to Thailand only to be involved in this combat sport. The numerous health benefits and the attractive classes make this fitness activity popular in women of all ages and different physical readiness. Even women who have extra weight can be part of these classes because Muay Thai training can help your efforts to lose weight. A single class can burn up to 1500 calories.
Those who want to witness the best results in a record time should join a Muay Thai training camp. Luckily these camps can be found everywhere including some attractive travel destinations like Phuket Island , Bangkok, etc. Our advice is to join a camp that is close to some beach because this is the perfect way to take a rest and enjoy the time spent in Thailand when you are not on a training class.
