Muay Thai, Women and Travel
There is a popular saying "what a man can do, a woman can do better". Well, here is your chance to prove it. There is a certain stereotype that only men have the right to be carefree and careless. Only men can travel the world in search of adventure which includes sampling of beautiful women from every race and tribe. I say it is time to put a stop to that. Now is the time for women to become predators rather than the prey. Take up more daunting endeavors and push themselves to the limit.
Muay Thai
You can start by booking your next travel ticket to Thailand to train muay thai with Suwit Muay Thai. Muay Thai is the traditional martial art form of the Thai people. As Kung fu is to the Chinese, so is muay thai to the Thais. Muay Thai is also nicknamed the art of eight limbs for obvious reasons. It is also called thai boxing. Thailand is currently the number one tourist destination in the world for also obvious reasons. Bangkok is now the most visited city in the world by international tourists, according to the third annual global destinations cities index released by MasterCard. With sixteen million foreigners flying into the country each year, Thailand's cultural integrity remains relatively undamaged. That to me is just amazing. A country that adroitly avoided colonization has been able to absorb western influences while maintaining its own rich heritage.
Here are some of the reasons why it is every tourist's destination:
-Shopping: Bangkok's Siam Paragon shopping mall is the world's second most photographed location on instagram, trailing only Bangkok's Suvarbabhumi airport.
- Skytrain: This is the easiest way to navigate Bangkok. It is clean, efficient and cheap. It is definitely the logical way to criss-cross the Thai capital to avoid the grid lock traffic below.
-Wat Pho (The Temple of the reclining Buddha): This is such an amazing temple, it is defiantly a must stop. You can also get a thai massage right on the grounds.
-Wat Pho Thai traditional massage school: wonderful massage with an amazing view. The massage is usually an hour long. When lying on your side, you can stare out at the beautiful temple buildings.
-White Sand Beach: there are several of these around the country for example Khao Lak Island. There is one just along after Kantary beach hotel which by the way is a brilliant hotel. There is also a great little restaurant with sunbeds to hire. Other island examples are phuket and patong.
-Muay Thai Training Camps: This is the ultimate health and fitness spot. I dare say there are hundreds if not thousands of such located everywhere in the country. There are two types of training camps. Farang friendly and farang non friendly. Farang means foreigner or outsider.
As a woman, Thailand is the perfect travel destination for spicing up your life and adventure seeking. /p>
